Description
The Yamasaki Kyokushinkai 8oz Poly-Cotton Gi is a lightweight, durable entry to intermediate-level Kyokushin karate uniform, ideal for students beginning their full-contact training journey. Designed for comfort, ease of movement, and everyday dojo use, this gi delivers reliable performance without the bulk of heavier canvas uniforms.
Constructed from a 35% cotton / 65% polyester blend, the 8oz fabric offers excellent breathability, strength, and comfort while remaining lightweight and easy to maintain. The poly-cotton material is pre-shrunk, ensuring the gi retains its size and shape after washing—perfect for regular training.
The Kyokushinkai-style jacket features traditional 3/4-length sleeves, allowing unrestricted movement during kihon, kata, and kumite. The pants are fitted with an elasticated waistband and drawstring closure, making them easy to put on while staying securely in place throughout training.
Finished with professional Kyokushin kanji (Kenji) embroidery on the jacket and supplied with a white belt, this uniform is an excellent all-in-one option for students training in Kyokushinkai karate.
