While many martial artists begin their journey in standard 8oz karate uniforms, it’s common to upgrade to a 10oz gi once technique, intensity, and training frequency increase. Built with the active martial artist in mind, the Yamasaki Pro Salt & Pepper Uniform offers enhanced strength without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement.
Woven from a 35% cotton / 65% polyester blend, this 10oz karate gi provides excellent resistance to sweat, dirt, and repeated washing, making it easy to care for and ideal for regular dojo training. It sits perfectly between lightweight and heavyweight options—more durable than 8oz uniforms, yet lighter and less restrictive than 14oz brushed canvas gi.
The full-cut design with a 3-piece pant gusset allows unrestricted movement across all stances, kicks, and transitions. Reinforced double-stitched flat seams ensure long-lasting durability, while the elasticated waistband with drawstring tie offers a secure, adjustable fit for all body types.
